The UK Alumni is a network of more than ninety UK Ashden Award winning organisations and hundreds of individuals that come together on a regular basis to learn from each other, to influence policy and to develop new partnerships and collaborations. Once you win an award you become part of the Ashden Family and have access to a wide range of tailor-made services.

Peer to peer learning

Through our network we offer a brokerage service where we do our utmost to match-make our winners in order that they can draw on each other’s skills and experience to be even more effective at what they already do so well.

Influencing policy

We work with national and regional governments, policymakers as well as a wide range of think tanks.  We help then to explore proposed policy on our winners as well as to influence the development of policy which helps support delivery of a wide range of sustainable energy projects. Through dialogue with our winners we frequent respond to consultations as well as publishing our own research reports and recommendations.

Masterclass programme

Shaped by our winners and supported through a range of partnerships,  our series of professional development seminars help our winners to get to grips with a wide range of issues.  This can be anything from project management skills, developing a communications strategy or getting investment ready.
