David Fulford
David Fulford was a lecturer at the University of Reading, teaching on the MSc course in Renewable Energy. In 2007, he set up his own consulting business, Kingdom Bioenergy Ltd, with links to experts in Nepal, Tanzania and South India, with the aim of developing and selling biogas technology.
David Irwin

David Irwin holds an Honours Degree in Engineering Science and Management and an MBA. He is a social entrepreneur and a consultant in enterprise and economic development. He is non-executive Chairman of Cobweb Information Ltd and a director of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He is also a member of the Investment Committee and non-executive member of the board for Oxfam's Enterprise Development Programme. He was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion in 2009. David also sits on the UK Ashden Awards judging panel.
Peter Capener
Independent Energy Consultant
Peter Capener has an MSc in Energy Resource, and has worked in the sustainable energy field for over 20 years, including seven years as Chief Executive of the Centre for Sustainable Energy. Since 2002 Peter has worked as an independent sustainable energy consultant on a range of projects for various private, public and voluntary sector clients. Peter also sits on the UK Ashden Awards judging panel.
Martin Wright
Martin sits on both judging panels and has made many international assessment visits over the last few years. He is Editor-in-Chief of Green Futures magazine and contributes articles and photographs on environmental issues to a range of publications in the UK and beyond.
