Travel and School Awards Manager
We are looking for someone to manage and administer the 2014 Eurostar Ashden Awards for Sustainable Travel and the Ashden School Awards. As well as managing the day-to-day running of each Award programme, this will include helping secure high-quality entries to the Awards; participating in the assessment of Award applicants and writing detailed case studies on each winner.
Experienced in delivering complex projects to deadlines, you are a self-motivated team player with excellent organisational and time-management skills. As comfortable writing as you are doing mathematical calculations, you also have a keen eye for detail. It would also be helpful if you have experience with sustainable travel and/or sustainable energy.
Time and place of work
The position is 50% full-time. Your workload will vary through the year, with the busiest period being from December to June, so you will need to be flexible and work more days a week at some times of the year than at others.
You’ll be based at the Ashden office opposite Victoria station. Occasional home-working may be possible, subject to further discussion.
Salary and contract
Salary £30,000 full-time equivalent.
The contract will initially be for 12 months.
