Congratulations to Ned Tozun and Sam Goldman, founders of 2010 Ashden Award winners D.light design, who have been named among the Forbes top 30 social entrepreneurs – the Impact 30.

They have been commended for D.light’s work bringing robust and reliable solar lanterns to rural markets across the world.

“Unlike millions of us who recognize some kind of problem, feel a pang of hopelessness, and move on [the 30 entrepreneurs] shifted careers and set about fixing the problems they saw in the world,” the Forbes article says.
