8 March 2013 saw the launch of the UNDP Renewable Energy Challenge. Ashden's Founder Director Sarah Butler-Sloss delivered the keynote speech and joined innovation charity Nesta, representatives from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and a diverse panel of experts in the fields of design, communications and renewable energy.
