Starting with a meeting with His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and ending with a drinks reception at the Royal Geographical Society in London, Wednesday 30 May was a very big day for twelve sustainable energy pioneers from the UK, Europe and developing countries, each of whom has won an Ashden Award in recognition of their achievements in transforming lives, boosting local economies and cutting carbon.
